On 22 April 2026, Her Excellency Mrs. Jirapon Jirampaikool, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, hosted the first “Thailand Alumni in Jordan Networking Dinner” at the Embassy premises. Approximately 35 Jordanian alumni, along with their family members, participated in the event. These Jordanian alumni studied or attended training courses in various fields in Thailand.

Her Excellency the Ambassador commended all Jordanian alumni who hold key positions in their respective fields and have made important contributions to their institutions and to the development of Jordan. The Embassy, on behalf of Thailand, takes pride in having been part of the alumni’s academic and professional journeys. Their presence in the event reflected the enduring connections fostered through education, cultural exchange, and friendship which further strengthen the cordial relations, especially people-people ties, between Thailand and Jordan.

Some of the activity highlights included introducing distinguished alumni, sharing academic and experiences in Thailand, as well as how the knowledge and skills acquired in Thailand are applied to the alumni’s professional development and contributions. The networking concluded by presenting a token of appreciation to each alumni in recognition of their significant role in bridging and deepening the collaboration and friendship between Thailand and Jordan.
