Kindness is borderless
On 28 April 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman participated in the Global Citizenship Day , held at the Bunayat Centre for Special Education, Amman.
The said event aimed at promoting the awareness and knowledge of diverse cultures and countries including Thailand, among the students of the Centre.
The Royal Thai Embassy displayed the booth featuring Thai costumes, Thai traditional dance, Muay Thai, as well as Thai fruits and vegetable carving. In addition, the Embassy, in collaboration with Fullmoon Thai restaurant, presented Thai food bazaar in which Thai dishes were sold to participants at a friendly price.
On this occasion, Her Excellency Mrs. Jirapon Jirampaikool, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, welcomed participants and students to the Thai corner. Along with the members of the board of Bunayat, Her Excellency the Ambassador visited different departments of the Centre.
Bunayat Centre for Special Education was established in 1974 to provide education and living skills for children with special needs. Today, the Centre hosts about 250 students and is under patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sarvath El Hassan.
