On 27 July 2018 His Excellency Mr. Pornpong Kanittanon, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, performed a ceremony for the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun at the Royal Thai Embassy. The ceremony was attended by the officials and family members, along with members of the Thai community, the Jordanian-Thai Friendship Association, and Friends of Thailand.

Later in the afternoon, the Royal Thai Embassy organized a Tree Planting Event at the Thailand-Jordan Friendship Forest in honour of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun.
