On 23 September 2016 His Excellency Mr. Apichart Phetcharatana Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, inaugurated the 5th Leadership Training Programme for the southern region development and preparation for the ASEAN Community at the Century Park Hotel, Amman. The programme’s goal was to expand Thai students’ world view in order to match the rapid changes of the region. 70 Thai students from universities and schools all over Jordan attended this 3-day training programme. 
The lectures and training were headed by Dr. Amornwich Nakornthap, Dr. Chulakorn Masatienwong, Mr. Sunchai Nontdrud, Mr. Surachai Vaivanjit, and Mr. Dhanavat Vayachuta – esteemed lecturers from the Ramjidi Institute of Thailand.
