On 12 April 2019 the Royal Thai Embassy hosted Songkran Festival to celebrate Thailand’s New Year at the Royal Thai Embassy. Over 80 people, including the diplomatic corps, representatives from international organizations, Jordanian media, Friends of Thailand and members of the Thai community attended the event. The guests participated in a Som Tum (papaya salad) cooking competition, before having lunch and enjoying each others’ company.
