NON-IMMIGRANT (B)

 

Purpose of visit : Teaching in Thailand

Requirements for applications Single entry visas

  1. Completed application form (please complete all parts as clearly as possible).
  2. Two (2) color photos of applicant (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm.)
  3. Copy of valid Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival into the Kingdom).
  4. Copy of National ID. If the applicant does not have a national ID, a driver’s license or house registration can be used.
  5. Invitation/Acceptance letter from employer mentioning the applicant's name, position, purpose and dates of visit to Thailand
  6. A copy of school license (in Thailand) or business registration company, list of shareholders and school profile.
  7. An applicant’s resume and a copy of applicant’s academic degree(s)
  8. Certified criminal record in the applicant’s country of origin or current country of residence issued by competent authority within the last 3 months.
  9. Copy of an Airline ticket or confirmation slip with applicant's name, flight number as well as date of entry and departure.
  10. Copy of an accommodation booking for the entire stay in Thailand.
  11. In case that the international schools (in Thailand) are not listed as recognised international school, a copy of letter of approval from the Office of the Private Education Commission is required.

Requirements for applications for Iraqi Nationals

Step 1

  1. Completed application form photo attached and make (1) copy.
  2. Copy of National ID and valid Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months from your intended arrival into the Kingdom) together in 1 A4-sized paper.
  3. Invitation/Acceptance letter from employer mentioning the applicant's name, position, purpose and dates of visit to Thailand
  4. A copy of school license (in Thailand) or business registration company, list of shareholders and school profile.
  5. An applicant’s resume and a copy of applicant’s academic degree(s)
  6. Certified criminal record in the applicant’s country of origin or current country of residence issued by competent authority within the last 3 months.
  7. In case that the international schools (in Thailand) are not listed as recognized international school, a copy of letter of approval from the Office of the Private Education Commission is required. 

Step 2 applicant or agency must confirm approval after Step 1 with Thai Embassy first

  1. Original passport (must be valid for at least 6 months from your intended arrival into the Kingdom).
  2. Three (3) additional copies of the completed application form with renewed proposed date of arrival.
  3. Three (3) color photos of applicant (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm.)
  4. Copy of an airline ticket or confirmation slip with relevant details;
  5. Copy of an accommodation bookings for the entire stay in Thailand.

 

Requirements for Palestinian Nationals with residence in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank

  1. Three (3) Completed application forms ;
  2. Three (3) color photos of applicant (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm.)
  3. Copy of valid passport;
  4. Copy of national ID;
  5. Invitation/Acceptance letter from employer mentioning the applicant's name, position, purpose and dates of visit to Thailand
  6. A copy of school license (in Thailand) or business registration company, list of shareholders and school profile.
  7. An applicant’s resume and a copy of applicant’s academic degree(s)
  8. Certified criminal record in the applicant’s country of origin or current country of residence issued by competent authority within the last 3 months.

Visa application fee

  • Single Entry : 60 JOD

 

Validity of visa

  • The single entry visa must be utilized within 3 months from the date of issuance.

Period of stay in Thailand

  • When entering Thailand within the given time frame, the immigration officer at the entry point will grant a 90-day stay. This is the initial period of stay for this type of visa. For an extension of stay beyond 90 days, application must be made at an Immigration Bureau.
