On 28 October 2025, Mr. Adisak Jantatum, Chargé d'Affaires of Royal Thai Embassy in Amman, together with officials of the Embassy and their spouses, held a ceremony of paying tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother of Thailand, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman.
The Chargé d'Affaires, on behalf of the officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai community in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, expressed profound sorrow over Her Majesty’s passing on 24 October 2025. Furthermore, he expressed deep gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless benevolence and lifelong devotion to the people of Thailand. With deepest gratitude, he reflected Their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great’s and Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother’s tireless determination and initiatives to strengthen the bonds of friendship with countries around the world, including the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a legacy that continues to inspire Thai officials serving in Jordan to uphold their duties with loyalty, dedication, and pride.
The Chargé d'Affaires, together with officials of the Embassy and their spouses, concluded the ceremony by signing the Book of Condolence.
Following the tribute ceremony, the Book of Condolence was opened for representatives of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s government, the diplomatic corps in Jordan, the private sector and Thai community in Jordan.
