Non-Thai nationals who are students of educational establishments in Thailand approved by Thai authorities, including their parents or guardians.

 

Step 1: Applying for Certificate of Entry (COE) and visa to Thailand (in case the applicant doesn’t have valid visa to Thailand) at the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman at least 5 working days before departure date. Required documents are as follows:

1. Applying for appropriate visa type (if required). Please see http://www.thaiembassy.org/amman/en/services/9948

2. Applying for COE

            2.1 Completed declaration form (http://www.thaiembassy.org/amman/contents/images/text_editor/files/Dec-Form-General-Pax.pdf)

            2.2 A copy of the applicant’s valid passport.

            2.3 A proof of student status or letter of acceptance from the academic institute

            2.4 A confirmation booking of Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ)* in accordance with regulation. The list of ASQ can be found at https://www.facebook.com/OICDDC  and https://www.facebook.com/Alternative-State-Quarantine-105755234490444

            2.5 Health insurance policy which covers treatment and medical expenses in relation to COVID 19, with a minimum coverage of 100,000 USD for their entire stay period in Thailand.

            2.6 Flight ticket reservation**

            2.7 A proof of relationship with parents or guardians

Step 3: Before checking in at the airport, the applicant is required to demonstrate following documents

  1. COE issued by the Royal Thai Embassy
  2. Fit to Fly or Fit to Travel Health Certificate
  3. Medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected by RT-PCR, issued no more than 72 hours before departure ***
  4. Health insurance policy which covers treatment and medical expenses in relation to COVID 19, with a minimum coverage of 100,000 USD

Step 4: Upon arriving in Thailand, the passenger is required to present the following documents to the authorities:

  1. COE issued by the Royal Thai Embassy
  2. Fit to Fly or Fit to Travel Health Certificate
  3. Medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected by RT-PCR, issued no more than 72 hours before departure***
  4. Health insurance policy which covers treatment and medical expenses in relation to COVID 19, with a minimum coverage of 100,000 USD
  5. A confirmation booking of ASQ.
  6. Download AOT Airport Application in the smart phone (https://app.airportthai.co.th/howtoinstall) and follow the instruction for inbound passenger control during COVID-19. In case the passenger doesn’t have smart phone, the passenger can fill in their information in the T8 Form instead. Important Notes:

* Non-Thai nationals entering Thailand under this category is required to quarantine at the ASQ at least 14 days at his/her own expense. Please contact directly with ASQ provider for ASQ reservation. Any hotel reservation from online platform website is not valid since they are not part of ASQ programme.

** Thailand is still suspending all commercial flight to Thai airport until further notice. Only repatriation flight, state or military aircraft, cargo flight, humanitarian flight, and etc. are permitted to land at Thai airport. *** 72 hours before departure is counting from the date of testing until the first point of departure. For example, if your flight is Amman-Dubai-Bangkok, your document should valid no more than 72 hours before departing from Amman.
