On 17 December 2018, His Excellency Mr. Pornpong Kanittanon, presented his credentials as the Non-Resident Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Palestine to His Excellency Dr. Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine.

On this occasion, His Excellency the Ambassador of Thailand discussed with His Excellency the President of the State of Palestine on ways to promote bilateral relations between the two countries. His Excellency Mr. Hussein Hussein, Chief of Protocol of the Office of the President, His Excellency Mr. Ramzi Khouri, Head of the Palestine National Fund, His Excellency Mr. Majdi Khaldi, Advisor to the President and His Excellency Mr. Attallah Khairi, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Jordan, were also present.
