On 5 December 2018 the Royal Thai Embassy hosted a reception in the auspicious occasions of the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand, the National Day of Thailand and Thailand’s Father’s Day at the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons hotel. 
Around 300 people, including representatives from the Jordanian public and private sectors, diplomatic corps, Friends of Thailand and members of the Thai community attended the event.

At the reception, video presentations on Thailand tourism and investment opportunities were shown. Also demonstrations of cooking of Thai dishes such as beef noodles and Kanom Krog and fruit carving were of interest by guests to top it off, a variety of Thai products, such as coconut milk, sweet chilli sauce and canned fruits were given to the guests as a token of appreciation.
