On 10-11 October 2018, His Excellency Mr. Pornpong Kanittanon, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, attended the Cooperation among East Asian Countries for Palestinian Development (CEAPAD) Joint Tour in Palestine, which was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Delegations from Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia also joined the tour. The programme included a visit to Aqbat Jabal Refugee Camp under the UNRWA operation, a visit to Jericho Agro Industrial Park (JAIP) which is a flagship project under the Corridor for Peace and Prosperity Project by Japan with cooperation from Palestine and Israel and the CEAPAD Steering Committee Launching Ceremony hosted by His Excellency Dr. Rami Hamdallah, Prime Minister of the State of Palestine. His Excellency Mr. Kanittanon made a remark on behalf of the delegation as Thailand was a co-host for the Third Ministerial Meeting of CEAPAD in June 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand.
