On 22 April 2018, the Royal Thai Embassy together with ASEAN Embassies in Amman including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Brunei Darussalam and Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation inaugurated the 3rd ASEAN Film Week, to be held between 22 – 26 April 2018. The ASEAN Film aims at promoting the ways of living and cultures of Southeast Asian nations for the Jordanian public and the international community in Amman. The Royal Thai Embassy chose the movie, “Teacher’s Diary”, which received 5 awards from the National Film Association Award and was selected as the Thai entry for the best foreign-language film at the 87th Academy Award, to be shown at this event. About 100 people joined the event.
