On 2 December 2016 the Royal Thai Embassy in Amman held a condolence ceremony on the occasion of the 50th day of the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibhol Adulyadej of Thailand. Over 50 people from the Thai community in Jordan attended the event, including Embassy officials and staff. Ms. Lalana Chatchawan, Chargé d’affaires a.i., read a condolence tribute to pay homage to His Majesty, which was followed by a 3-minute period of silence, singing of the royal anthem and watching a VDO about His Majesty's work on the Royal Rain Making.
