To commemorate the genuine ties of friendship between the kingdoms of Thailand and Jordan, the Royal Thai Embassy, led by H.E Mr.Isinthorn Sornvai, Ambassador of Thailand, met with officials from the Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculutre of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to survey the area of the Thai Friensdhip Forest, located in the hill areas of Amman. The forest will highlight the theme of sustainable agricultural development, a primary focus of both kingdoms, and will serve as an important mechanism of water conservation and the prevention of soil erosion in the forest area surrounding Amman.
