On 16 July 2025, H.E. Mr. Supark Prongthura, Ambassador of Thailand to Jordan, attended the 17th meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Amman (ACA) under the Chairmanship of Malaysia at the Fairmont Hotel, Amman. Ambassadors of Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, as well as members of ACA Working Group were also in attendance.

During the meeting, ASEAN Ambassadors discussed on possible ACA activities to promote ASEAN awareness and profile in Jordan during the second half of 2025 under Malaysia’s ACA Chairmanship, in which Thailand reiterated its unwavering support to the current ACA Chair.
