On 22 August 2022, Royal Thai Embassy together with Embassies from ASEAN Committee in Amman (ACA) including Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines organized the Celebration of 52th Anniversary of ASEAN at Brunei Residence.

With the presence of Her Excellency Mrs. Yasera Ghosheh, Minister of State for Institutional Performance Development of Jordan as the Guest of Honour and the diplomatic corps and other representatives from Jordan attended this event. Together about 200 people joined the celebration.

The reception started with the ASEAN Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by the Remarks from His Excellency Mr. Mahadi Maidin, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Jordan and the Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Amman (ACA) and the traditional cake-cutting ceremony. The guests were later able to try delicious food and desserts from ASEAN countries. Royal Thai Embassy presented steamed rice, chicken with cashew nuts and Khanom Yok Manee for the guests to try.
