Between 30 June – 5 July 2019 the Royal Thai Embassy led a delegation comprising representatives from the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, the Jordan River Foundation, and Roya TV on a study visit to Thailand. The study visit this year focused on Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) projects under Royal Initiatives such as the Doi Tung Development Project, the Golden Triangle Park, the Hall of Opium, as well as visited various sites in Chiang Rai and Bangkok, such as the Wat Rong Khun Temple, the Bun Rawd (tea) Farm, the Wat Huay Pla Kang Temple, the Mae Sai border (Thailand-Myanmar) market, and the Grand Palace in Bangkok.
