On 30 October 2010, the Royal Thai Embassy participated in the event, ASEAN Night 2010, with other ASEAN Embassies in Amman. This was the first event of its kind to be organised in Jordan and featured performances and cuisines from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand. The guest of honour for ASEAN Night 2010 was Her Royal Highness Princess Basma Bint Talal. the Royal Thai Embassy featured the Sban-Nga cultural troupe for its performance. As Vice Dean of the ASEAN Ambassdor's Group, H.E. Isinthorn Sornvai delivered the welcoming remarks.
