TRANSIT (S)

Purpose of visit : To participate in sport events in Thailand

Requirements for applications Single entry visas

1. Completed application form (please complete all parts as clearly as possible).
2. Two (2) color photos of applicant (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm.)
3. Copy of valid Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival into the Kingdom).
4. Copy of National ID. If the applicant does not have a national ID, a driver’s license or house registration can be used.
5. Cover letter from the organization (e.g. sports association, school, etc.) which the applicant will represent at the sports event.
6. Proof of participation in the sports event in Thailand (e.g. invitation from the host organization in Thailand etc.)
7. Copy of an Airline ticket or confirmation slip with applicant's name, flight number as well as date of entry and departure.
8. Copy of an accommodation bookings for the entire stay in Thailand.

Requirements for applications for Iraqi Nationals

Step 1

1. Completed application form (please complete all parts as clearly as possible).
2. One (1) color photos of applicant (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm.)
3. Copy of National ID and valid Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months from your intended arrival into the Kingdom) together in 1 A4-sized paper.
4. Cover letter from the organization (e.g. sports association, school, etc.) which the applicant will represent at the sports event.
5. Proof of participation in the sports event in Thailand (e.g. invitation from the host organization in Thailand etc.)

Step 2 applicant or agency must confirm approval after Step 1 with Thai Embassy first

1. Original Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months from your intended arrival into the Kingdom).
2. 3 Completed application form with renewed proposed date of arrival.
3. Three (3) color photos of applicant (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm.)
4. Copy of an Airline ticket or confirmation slip with applicant's name, flight number as well as date of entry and departure.
5. Copy of an accommodation bookings for the entire stay in Thailand.

Requirements for Palestinian Nationals with residence in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank

1. 3 Completed application form (please complete all parts as clearly as possible).
2. Three (3) color photos of applicant (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm.)
3. Copy of valid Passport (must be valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival into the Kingdom).
4. Copy of National ID. If the applicant does not have a national ID, a driver’s license or house registration can be used.
5. Evidence of employment.
6. Cover letter from the organization (e.g. sports association, school, etc.) which the applicant will represent at the sports event.
7. Proof of participation in the sports event in Thailand (e.g. invitation from the host organization in Thailand etc.)
8. Recent bank statement (last 6 months) certified by the bank.
9. Copy of an Airline ticket or confirmation slip with applicant's name, flight number as well as date of entry and departure.
10. Copy of an accommodation bookings for the entire stay in Thailand

Visa application fee

• Single Entry : 25 JOD

Validity of visa

• The single entry and double entry visa must be utilized within 3 months from the date of issuance.

Period of stay in Thailand

• This type of visa is for sport players who participate in an international game in Thailand.The procedure is the same as for a tourist visa,except that the duration of stay is 30 Days.
